Standards Alignment
Alignment, not certification
The AI Evidence Disclosure Standard v1 is aligned to established principles of digital evidence handling. Alignment means the standard maps to recognised guidance — it does not mean certification by any standards body.
| Principle | How EDS v1 Addresses It |
|---|---|
| Evidence identification & collection | Document what was collected and when, using structured evidence logs with timestamps and entry IDs. |
| Preservation & integrity | Hashing, versioning, and immutable logging (where used) to preserve the state of evidence materials. |
| Chain-of-custody style logging | Record who handled what, when, and why — including all modifications to AI outputs. |
| Repeatable folder structure | Consistent folder hierarchy ensures findability and verifiability for reviewers. |
Independent Review

Security Measures
We take practical steps to protect your submissions and ensure the platform operates securely.
HTTPS Everywhere
All connections are encrypted in transit via TLS/SSL.
Rate Limiting
Request submissions are rate-limited per IP to prevent abuse (max 5 per hour).
Input Validation
All form inputs are validated and length-capped server-side.
Anti-Spam Protection
Honeypot fields and IP-based rate limiting prevent automated submissions.
Token-Protected Admin
Administrative functions are protected by server-side token authentication.
No Public Exposure
Admin routes are excluded from search engine indexing via robots.txt.
Not Legal Advice & Not AI Detection
This platform provides process documentation tools only. We want to be completely transparent about what this platform is and is not.
Not legal advice
Nothing on this platform constitutes legal advice. Our templates and guides help you document AI use — they do not advise you on what to disclose, when to disclose, or whether disclosure is legally required in your situation. Always seek independent legal advice for your specific circumstances.
Not AI detection
We do not detect, verify, or certify whether content was generated by AI. Our tools help you voluntarily document your own AI use. We do not scan, analyse, or make determinations about any content you submit or reference.
Sample Disclosure Pack

Evidence Log
A timestamped, entry-by-entry record of each AI interaction — including prompts, outputs, modifications, and reviewer details.
Folder Structure
Organised directory with consistent file naming (type-description-date-version.ext) for all disclosure materials.
Conformance Checklist
Completed EDS v1 conformance checklist confirming all required documentation steps have been followed.
